Directions

  1. Preheat a panini press or a grill pan on medium-high heat.
  2. On one side of each slice of bread, spread butter or mayonnaise.
  3. Layer one slice of bread with the cheese and ham, and add any optional toppings you desire.
  4. Top with the other slice of bread, butter/mayonnaise side facing outwards.
  5. Place the sandwich in the panini press or grill pan, and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove the sandwich from the heat and let it cool for a minute before slicing it in half.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious toasted cheese and ham panini sandwich!
